Verizon's Upcoming LG Chocolate 3 Music Phone

I picked up an interesting mobile phone rumor, as I was surfing some cell phone and gadgets websites. I found some rumors on the possible release date of the LG Chocolate 3. The rumors say that Verizon will release the music centered clamshell from LG on July 14th. Well see if the mobile phone carrier will release the LG chocolate 3 music phone about a week from now.

Verizon already have two different versions of the LG Chocolate in their mobile phone lineup. However, the LG Chocolate 1 (VX8500) and LG Chocolate (VX8550) 2 are slider handsets. The upcoming LG Chocolate 3 (VX8560) will be a clamshell. This new Verizon music phone will be initially available in Black and Light Blue variants.

Of course, the LG Chocolate 3 not only features a new form factor. It will also offer new features and other surprises. It will need to offer new to compete with the top mobile phones that will be launch in the same month. It will need to outdo the Instinct offered by Sprint and the 3G iPhone offered by AT&T.

The Chocolate 3 is a music centered handset so it needs to offer a great feature for music phone fans. It turns out that the LG Chocolate 3 will be the the first Verizon device to have an integrated FM Transmitter. These means that users can can listen to stored music on any near by FM Radio Receiver.
